So the blog is on WordPress.com now

Unfortunately  the previous host was unreliable to say the least. During last crash I lost two posts (one note very interesting about libgee 0.7 and one about general thought on debugging). The recent security breach caused lost of trust into it from many users (including me) and caused the closure of project.

Therefore the blog was moved to wordpress.com – please wait until the change is propagated through DNSes.

  1. I saw your note on stackoverflow looking for a 64-bit freeware proxifier.. Did you ever find such an application? Sockscap won’t work on 64-bit.

Have you thought about having your blog on blogs.gnome.org? I used to have mine on wordpress.com, but switched away as readers got quite a lot of advert spam there.

    • Yes, I did. However what happens if Foundation membership expires at any point (one reason I don’t use Gnome infrastructure is that I don’t know how much free time I’ll have in the future).

      • Kat says:

If membership expires, one’s accounts do not expire at this time.

To be extra sure that you can always apply for emeritus membership, in which case you definitely get to keep the accounts.

Also, it’s very easy to export all content from one WordPress site and import it into another (I did that when moving my blogs from wordpress.com to my own site and to GNOME infrastructure).
